Mony Mony – Tommy James (or better yet, the Billy Idol version). But ask people to refrain from shouting the “alternate lyrics”.
Wooly Bully – Some in the band have expressed dislike for this choice, but it’s a great encore song. I’ve heard several bands do it and they pack the dance floor.

The Thrill Is Gone – BB King (Alec would do a great BB King, just practice some strong bends)
Should I Stay – Clash (for a rock-oriented audience – Drew’s guitar would sound great in this song)
Pay The Alligator – Flatlanders (A blues-based feel-good toe-tapper)
Dead Presidents – J Geils (A “boogie blues” that will fill the dance floor)
Tough It Out – Webb Wilder (Rock based, ala The Fabulous Thunderbirds)
Oh Darling – Beatles (Doesn’t meet the criteria above, but recognizable and the band would sound great playing it)
Mony Mony – Tommy James or Billy Idol (If it’s a party crowd, it’s the ultimate party song)
Smoke On The Water (In 8 bar blues) – Deep Purple (Playing in a blues style would be an experiment)
